Message from the President

    Amid the rapid changes of the 21st century, Nakhon Phanom University is more than a university along the Mekong River. We aspire to be a beacon of knowledge that guides society toward stability, opportunity, and sustainable development. As President, I am committed to transforming the university through six key transformation modules that will shape a stronger future for Nakhon Phanom and Thai society.

    During the first six months of the 2026 fiscal year, we began laying the foundations for this transformation at the Demonstration School of Nakhon Phanom University, Phanom Pittayaphat. Beginning in the 2026 academic year, classrooms will move toward a more international environment, with English used in over 90 percent of classroom communication. We are also expanding after-school programmes, AI and Chinese language camps, and global learning opportunities to prepare future doctors, engineers, and internationally minded graduates. For vocational education, the university is creating opportunities for students to gain professional training experience in Japan, helping them build both income and valuable life experience.

    At the undergraduate level, we are strengthening specialised academic areas across our campuses in humanities and social sciences, science and technology, and health sciences. The Sri Kotrabun Campus is also being developed into a future Wellness Hub to support regional health and wellness innovation. Under my leadership, Nakhon Phanom University will continue to grow as a “University of Lifelong Learning” that welcomes learners from all backgrounds, including those in correctional institutions, military camps, and emerging industries such as electric vehicles (EV).
